A Tiny Turtle

One of my brothers discovered this little turtle making its way across our yard today.
It had been awhile since I'd seen one this small, and we thought it looked so tiny and cute. :)
Thankfully it was noticed before someone accidentally stepped on it!
It could move surprisingly fast for its size. So much for the old saying about moving
slowly at a turtle's pace. :)

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
 ~Genesis 1:25

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
~Psalms 135:1

Awww, it's so cute!!! :) I've always thought it would be fun to see and hold a little baby turtle like that! Reminds me of the tortoise in Florida, remember feeding it bananas? :)
