1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. ginger
Honey (about 1 Tbsp., or to taste)
Steep the spices in one cup of hot water, straining them out afterwards with a coffee filter, if desired. (I personally don't mind drinking it as it is.) Add honey or sweetener of your choice.
The health benefits of these three spices (and the honey) might be a good reason to add it to your list to make! :)
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the
honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
~Proverbs 24:13

This is something I'm going to have to try! It sounds good, and healthy too! :) Thanks for posting the recipe.
I am going to try this! We have colds and congestion and think these spices will be helpful for drainage and healing. I have fresh ginger, which I will use, but what do you usually use in this recipe, fresh or ground?
Sister in the Mid-west,
The fresh ginger sounds really good to use in this, but all I've tried so far is the dried ground ginger. I would love to hear how it turns out for you! Sorry you all haven't been well; I hope the tea will help you to feel better!
