Needlework

Today I've been working on an embroidery project, and just thought
I'd share some pictures.
I've been enjoying trying some of the new (at least new to me) :) stitches
that my Grandma taught me while she came for a visit this past year. She has
made some beautiful embroidered quilts, pillowcases, etc. over the years,
and I just had to ask her to teach me how she does it. :)

It's been fun, and I hope to do some more projects in the future. :)

Beautiful needle work! You have a very nice blog! I am sorry that it took me a while to leave a comment. You are off to a great start! I look forward to reading your future posts.

Thank you! :) I would love to see some of your embroidery work sometime--maybe you can make a post about it sometime also! You're probably better at it than I am. :)

How pretty! I always liked doing embroidery, although I never tried anything very fancy. :) I had kind of forgotten Grandma liked doing it, that's neat that you got her to show you some new stitches!
