I have been considering some different options as I'm coming back to my blog, and wondered if my readers would mind sharing your opinions?
For some time prior to my break, I had gradually (and without fully realizing it at first) began shifting my posts almost entirely from the everyday things (recipes, projects, etc.), to devotional type posts with what I had found encouraging to me in my own life, and what was often on my mind. Once I realized I had made this change, I began to feel reluctant to share the more everyday things of life as it seemed almost out of place and of lesser importance. What my question is...what do you all think of my starting a second blog that would focus more on home life, crafts, gardening, recipes, etc., while also keeping this blog to make posts separately for devotional/spiritual encouragement? Or would you prefer I kept just one blog where there is a mixture of posts of both kinds, and everything is kept all in one place?
I've added a poll on the right hand side of this blog page, and if you'd care to share your thoughts by voting I'd appreciate it so much! :) If the poll for some reason doesn't work properly, you can also leave me a comment choosing "A, B, or C" options. I'd also love to hear if you have any other thoughts/suggestions in the comments. If you prefer I don't post your comment publicly, please feel free to mention that and I will keep it private.
A. I like the idea of two separate blogs.
B. I think it's better to leave the blog how it is, with everything all in one place.
C. I'm not really sure / Either way is fine with me!

I think "B"
It's nice to have a mixture.
Ladies enjoy visiting our online home and it is a relaxing time
for most of them to just feel as though they walked in our
door and can put their feet up.
As they visit we can share our thoughts on the Lord and share
our gifts of cooking, gardening etc.
I didn't know people could make polls on their blog. That is so cool!
If it was my blog I would keep everything in one place. I like my blog to be as varied as my personality. But, it doesn't matter to me which way you choose to do it. I can follow both of yours, if you choose to start a new blog.
Those are some good thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to share, it means a lot!
Yes, Blogger used to have a way to add polls directly within on the "Add a gadget" feature on the sidebar of layout design. I could not find it anymore, so I actually used a third party website to make a HTML code that I was able to add. I am glad that it works! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I appreciate it, and will be taking everyone's votes/suggestions into consideration.
Thank you for your sweet comment today. My daughter is 31 also. I appreciate your writings....keep on sharing. The Lord is using the gifts He has given to you to encourage many folks.
You are appreciated 🤗🤗
Hi Sunshine, glad you let me know the anonymous comment was from you... and I think B a mixture is good. For various reasons, its easier to keep posting with one blog ... I know I have two and struggle to post even on one. I'm glad youre back blogging. God bless you in it all.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 🙏🏻🤗
Dear Sister Shaz, I was so happy to receive a comment from you! Thank you so much for taking time to write and share your thoughts. That is very helpful to hear from you seeing you've tried the two blogs and know what it is like.
Thank you again so much. Prayers for you as well! 🙏
