Creation Close-Ups: The Ladybug

My sister-in-law reminded me recently about this post I had made years ago, and suggested that I should re-post it again....so here it is. :)

I'm always happy to find pretty little ladybugs like this one around
our yard, or better yet, out in the garden, as this one was. :)

"O LORD, how manifold are Thy works! in wisdom hast Thou made them all:
the earth is full of Thy riches." ~Psalm 124:24

 Some interesting facts:

    Hi there dear Sunshine!
Aw whatva cute lady beetle, we call them lady beetles in Oz not lady bug. That is indeed a great macro shot, I agree with your sister in law. A beautiful post to remind us to keep praising our Lord. How good He is to us!
Sorry I've not blogged much, things are so busy, I'm out every day and never seem to have much time for home things. Summer is that way. I was away last week too, so that's made this week extra busy.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you.
    Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

OH how I love lady bugs! I have studied them with my kids and we even bought some and released them in our yard. We then saw the pupas the next year and had many grow and stick around. Good to keep the aphid infestations at bay!
Love how detailed their world is when you take the time to really look.

I enjoyed reading this! I had no idea ladybugs could live up to three years, that is neat! I also think its neat that they hibernate in large groups, that would be fun to find. :)
