Watercolors

I'm still in the process of learning more about painting with watercolors,
and always find them a bit challenging to work with. However, I still
enjoyed trying to paint these roses.
Working on the details...

And, almost done. My favorite part to paint was the bright
blue vase the roses were in. Such a pretty, vibrant color!

Another small painting I did recently of one of my favorite teacups
that some friends gave me this year.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Beautiful paintings! :) I really love seeing your work, both the roses and teacup turned out so nice! The more I see watercolours the more I'm liking ithem! I should go get my paints out, I started on another little painting, (and a drawing I want to paint) last week and still haven't finished them. If only the the laundry, dishes etc. would get done by themselves...sigh :)

Thank you, Emily! :) I'm glad you got started with painting watercolors; they're so much easier to get out and paint with than oils or even acrylics, and don't make near the mess if children were to get into them. :D Wish I could help out with all the jobs around the house so you could draw and paint some more! :)
